Architectural technologists join AEEBC AEEBC continues to expand.
At AEEBC's 36th general assembly held in Lisbon 24-25th April, the UK based Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) was accepted as a full member of AEEBC.
CIAT have 9000 members of which approximately 60% are full chartered members of the Institute.
Architectural technologists are building professionals who ensures the buildability of the design of buildings. According to CIAT's homepage at www.ciat.org.uk, "Architectural Technology is the science and technical aspects of architecture primarily based upon the twin concepts of designing for performance and production through the use and integration of technology." CIAT joins an expanding European association which represents over 400,000 building professionals from across Europe.
