The AEEBC is currently considering the development of a common European platform for professionals in the Building Surveying/Construction/Building Expert professions (which includes construction management).

The project envisages the establishment of a recognised professional card for those professionals meeting the criteria of AEEBC and its member institutions.

The aims are:

• facilitate mutual recognition of qualifications and competencies in Europe and worldwide by establishing an EU recognised qualification
• facilitate mobility of professionals and their qualifications
• support and promote the development of construction industry services in line with EU policy
• promote the Building Surveying/Building Expert profession throughout Europe
• establish practice guidelines
